During the Christmas period many food produces add Christmas editions to their range, combining their usual offering with traditional festive flavours. Many of these Christmas specials we stock in our Christmas Food Hampers, although this article covers many more Christmas food and drink products from the West Country than what we stock. Below we've detailed our favourite festive food and drink products from the region for 2023.
Limited Edition Christmas Food From The West Country
Devonshire Fudge and West Country Chocolate Christmas Specials
Kernow Chocolate - based in Cornwall Kernow Chocolate produce a range of Christmas themed limited edition Chocolate bars, which includes the following 100g bars: Christmas Pudding, Stollen, Bah! Humbug!, Mulled Winter Punch, Spiced Apple Crumble and Raspberry Pavlova flavour. They also produce some of these flavours in their Hot Chocolate spoons.
Willies Cacao - although Willies Cacao don't produce chocolate bars in Christmas flavours like Kernow do above, they do produce some very nice signature chocolate truffles which make very good gifts during Christmas time.
Christmas Pudding Fudge - produced by the Devon Fudge Company, Christmas pudding flavour fudge blends clotted cream fudge with cranberries, brandy, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Chocolate Truffles - we have our own Devon Heaven chocolate truffles sold in our Christmas hampers combining our classic chocolate truffles with a mulled wine flavour truffle and a Christmas pudding design truffle.

Christmas Pudding Cookies - Teoni's of Cullompton produce a range of limited edition Christmas products, their Christmas pudding cookies are made by hand with oats, white chocolate flavour coating, mixed fruit and spice. They also make chocolate orange shortbread and dipped cranberry cookies.
Burts Crisps - based in Plymouth Burts Crisps have grown into a national brand, during the Christmas period they produce a limited edition Maple Pigs In Blankets flavour. The crisps combine smokey sausage and bacon flavours with a hint of sweet maple glaze and are free from gluten.

Christmas Puddings - based in Budleigh Salterton Georgie Porgie Puddings are market leader in artisan, flavoured Christmas puddings. Their newest edition is a delicious Baileys and chocolate orange flavoured pudding.
Mince Pie Flapjack - produced by Flapjackery of Devon mince pie flapjack is a delicious seasonal twist on traditional flapjack flavours.
Christmas Sauces and Chutneys
Cranberry Sauce with Port - this Christmas dinner essential is lovingly made in small batches using high fruit content and a large shot of port by North Devon producers Brendon Hill Crafts.
Cranberry & Whortleberry Chutney - Brendon Hill Crafts combine cranberry's with whortleberry's, a wild growing Devon blueberry found on Devon's moors, to produce an excellent Christmas chutney.

Mulled Berry Juice - BloomBerry from Clyst Hydon produce a mulled mixed fruit juice with honey and spices that tastes great served warm, perfect on a cold winter’s night.
Passionate Ginger Beer - produced by the well known Luscombe Drinks of Devon their passionate ginger beer brings together the spice of ginger with the sweetness of passion fruit to offer a luxurious twist on a classic. It's a popular drink all year round but particularly well suited to colder months.
Tea - Devonshire Tea have a seasonal pack featuring a Christmas tree deign rather than the usual sail boat picture which can make for a nice little present. The seasonal pack contains their three blended teas (classic breakfast, earl grey and delightful afternoon tea).

Mulled Cider - an alternative to mulled wine but with a more West Country feel Lyme Bay mulled cider comes in a tall 75cl wine bottle and combines their award-winning Jack Ratt Scrumpy Cider with festive spices.
